New to domains and hosting? Think of your domain as your address and your hosting as the land your website is built on. You need both to have a website online.

What is a domain name?

A domain (like yourbusiness.com) is the human-friendly address people type to reach your site. You register it for a year or more and renew it to keep it.

What is web hosting?

Hosting is the server space where your website’s files, databases and email live. When someone visits your domain, your host delivers the site to their browser.
